We have moved several thousand homes and offices around the Greater Seattle area since 2020, and the same questions come up on almost every estimate. How long does packing actually take? What is a fair hourly rate, and what should already be included in it? How do you tell a real moving company from a broker who will sell your job to someone else?
This is where we write those answers down properly, with the numbers we actually see on the job rather than the ones that make us look good. Some of it will talk you out of hiring us — if you are moving a studio and you have a free weekend, you should pack it yourself, and we will say so. The rest should make the decision easier either way.
