Local movers you can trust

Sammamish's Trusted Local Movers

Sammamish is almost entirely single-family homes, and large ones. There are very few apartments up here, which means most Sammamish moves are full households β€” four bedrooms, a three-car garage, a shed, and fifteen years of accumulation. They need bigger crews and longer days than a comparable move down in Redmond or Bellevue.

The plateau also sits several hundred feet above the valley on either side. Getting a loaded truck up 228th or Inglewood Hill Road is routine for us, but it's part of why travel time and route planning matter here more than in flatter cities.

You get one all-inclusive hourly rate covering the truck, blankets, shrink wrap, tape, furniture assembly, stairs, and travel time. No broker handoff β€” the person who answers the phone manages your move, and the crew that arrives are our own background-checked employees.

🍪 Local tip: Sammamish homes are big enough that crew size is usually the deciding factor on cost. Four movers finishing in six hours is almost always cheaper than three movers taking ten. We size the crew to the house rather than quoting the smallest number.
Block by block

What a Sammamish move actually involves

The plateau is mostly newer master-planned neighborhoods with a handful of older lakefront pockets. Here's how they differ:

Sahalee & Aldarra

Larger homes on generous lots, often in golf-course communities with gate access to arrange and HOA rules about truck parking. Long driveways are the norm. These are full-day moves with four movers more often than not.

Pine Lake & Beaver Lake

Older established homes, some right on the water. Lakefront lots frequently slope away from the street, which means carrying up rather than down β€” considerably slower, and something we size the crew around.

Trossachs & Timberline

Newer master-planned developments on the eastern side. Good wide streets and proper driveways, so access is rarely the issue. HOA notice requirements are, though β€” check your packet before booking a date.

Inglewood Hill & North Sammamish

The older part of the plateau, closer to Redmond. A mix of large lots and mid-century homes, some with steep or gravel driveways that a 26-foot truck can't comfortably climb loaded. Worth flagging on the estimate.

Sammamish Town Center

The small pocket of townhomes and condos near the city centre β€” the closest thing to dense housing up here. Elevator buildings need a Certificate of Insurance, which we provide free, plus a booked slot.

Klahanie edge & South Plateau

Townhomes and single-family homes toward the Issaquah boundary, mostly inside HOA communities with their own move rules. Access is generally good; the paperwork is the part to sort early.

🍪 Local tip: Sammamish garages and storage sheds are where estimates go wrong. When we do the walk-through, show us the garage, the shed, and the crawlspace β€” those three add hours more often than the house itself does.
Honest pricing

How much do movers in Sammamish cost?

What you pay for movers in Sammamish comes down to crew size and hours worked. We charge one all-inclusive hourly rate β€” truck, blankets, shrink wrap, tape, furniture assembly, stairs, and travel time are all inside it, so the number you're quoted is the number you pay.

Sammamish skews larger than most Eastside cities, so the typical job sits at the upper end of these ranges:

On a house this size, adding a fourth mover usually lowers the total bill rather than raising it β€” the job finishes in fewer hours and there's less risk of running into a second day. We'll tell you honestly which crew size makes sense once we've seen the place.

Mid-week and mid-month dates are the cheapest way to move in Sammamish and the easiest for HOA approvals. We run daily routes between Sammamish and Issaquah, Redmond, Bellevue, and Kirkland. Request a free quote or call (206) 590-2288 β€” on-site or by video, no obligation.

Common questions

Sammamish moving FAQs

Do you serve all of Sammamish?

Yes β€” Sahalee, Aldarra, Pine Lake, Beaver Lake, Trossachs, Timberline, Inglewood Hill, the Town Center, and the south plateau toward Klahanie. Call (206) 590-2288 and we'll confirm your exact address.

How much do movers cost in Sammamish?

It depends on crew size and hours worked, and Sammamish homes are larger than average. A 3–4 bedroom house typically runs 6–9 hours with 3–4 movers; a 5+ bedroom home with a garage and shed is usually a full day with 4–5 movers. One all-inclusive hourly rate covers truck, blankets, assembly, stairs, and travel time. Call (206) 590-2288 for an exact quote.

Should I book 3 movers or 4?

For most Sammamish houses, four. On a large home a fourth mover typically lowers the total bill rather than raising it, because the job finishes in noticeably fewer hours and you avoid the risk of spilling into a second day. We'll give you an honest recommendation after the walk-through.

My HOA requires notice before a move. Do you handle that?

Yes. Several Sammamish communities β€” including the gated ones β€” require advance notice, restrict truck parking, or need a Certificate of Insurance. Send us your HOA packet when you book and we'll work to it. The COI is free.

Can you get a truck up a steep driveway on Inglewood Hill?

Usually, but mention it during the estimate. Some of the older north-plateau driveways are steep or gravel and difficult for a fully loaded 26-foot truck. When that's the case we bring a smaller vehicle or shuttle in stages, planned in advance.

Do you provide estimates?

Yes, free and with no obligation. For Sammamish homes we strongly recommend an on-site visit rather than video β€” garages, sheds, and crawlspaces are consistently where remote estimates go wrong.

Do you offer storage in Sammamish?

Yes β€” short- and long-term storage between moves. Your items are packed, inventoried, and stored by the same crew that moves you, which helps when you're selling one home and closing on another.

Are you a licensed moving company?

Yes. Licensed by the Washington UTC (permit THG070086), USDOT 3666304, MC 1562374, with full commercial cargo and liability insurance. You can verify any Washington mover's permit at utc.wa.gov before you book.
